My Life As Max – Chapter 29

TWENTY – NINE

Every night, I have the need to drink blood; only blood. Why?  Flesh is nothing to me.

One thing for sure, I wish Fire will get off my ass. She follows me and take pictures of me, as if she’s spying on me. I just want her Indian ass to go back to Arizona where she belongs.  Left alone in my misery – my pit of hell.

One thing for sure, I’m not like my family. I’m so different and I wish I knew why? Why?

I look like death, I drink blood and my teeth never look normal again after that first night. I don’t know the future and I can give a rat ass about the past. I am an outcast in this weird messed up family.

Tonight, my mother’s friend came to visit. His name is Apollo and he’s a vampire. So what?

I hate vampires.  They are the most snobbish super model pieces of shit I have ever seen.  When they walk, they float and they try to speak so intelligently.  Who cares?

Apollo knew my mother from the time she was a rebel in the women’s right world.  They met and became friends; that’s all I know.

He’s tall like 6’5, looks like death with his ugly disgusting teeth, long black straight hair and his superstar smile.  When I look at him, I just want to throw up.  I hate vampires.

Yeah, I have met a few and they think my family are so cave man. They believe, they are so high on the food chain.  My gift to myself , will be to eat a vampire,  just to say I had vampire meat.

At dinner, my mother laughed at all Apollo’s jokes and smiled at him, but it was too friendly.  She was acting like a girl with crush.  The eyes she made at him, I couldn’t believe my father didn’t stepped in and showed Apollo the door.

But, inside my bones and my demonic flesh, I know something is wrong with me. I believe Apollo is the key.
